About Us

Before establishing the firm, I represented both privately retained and Legal Aid clients in a wide range of family law matters, including parenting disputes, divorce, support claims, property division, and adoptions. I have appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King's Bench.

I have guided clients at every stage of the legal process, from negotiated settlements and mediation to chambers applications and contested trials.

I believe clients deserve clear communication, practical advice, and dedicated advocacy focused on achieving the best possible outcome for their family.

Meral is the Legal Assistant and Communications Coordinator at DeHa Law, where she supports both the firm’s day-to-day legal administration and its communications initiatives.

With a background in professional communications, Meral brings a strong foundation in writing, digital media, client communication, and content development to her role. She assists with administrative and organizational aspects of client matters while also supporting the firm’s external communications, including website content, social media, brand development, and community outreach.

Meral is particularly interested in making legal information clear, approachable, and accessible. Through her combined role, she helps ensure clients receive professional and thoughtful support while contributing to a consistent and welcoming presence for the firm.

Outside of her work with the firm, Meral continues to develop her experience in communications and professional services.
